Privacy policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
The short version: MeterCubed has no accounts, no sign-up forms, no comments, no ads and no analytics or tracking scripts. We don't ask for your personal information, and we don't sell or share any.
What we collect
Nothing directly. When you visit, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, handles the request and keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We don't use those logs to identify you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Cookies and local storage
MeterCubed doesn't set cookies. If you use the light/dark theme button, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device, and you can clear it any time in your browser settings.
Emailing us
If you email contact@metercubed.com, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you, and we don't add you to any mailing list. Email to this address is delivered through Cloudflare and Google (Gmail). We keep messages only as long as needed, and you can ask us to delete them.
Embedded videos and external links
Some articles embed YouTube videos using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Loading a video sends your request to YouTube, which is governed byGoogle's privacy policy. Links to other sites, including affiliate partners, are covered by those sites' own policies.
Affiliate links
Some links are affiliate links. If you click one, the partner's site may set its own cookies so they can credit us if you buy. We never see your purchase or payment details. See ouraffiliate disclosure.
Children
Many Minecraft players are young. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Because we hold almost no personal data, there's little to request, but you can email us to ask what we have, or to have it corrected or deleted, wherever you live.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data, for example by adding analytics or ads, we'll update this page and its date before the change goes live.
